After your account is deleted, we retain a backup copy of your information for a safety retention window of up to three years, but this data will not be visible on Weave.

Geolocation Data

We use your geolocation data to improve the Weave experience by showing you nearby users or events. You can choose whether to share your geolocation, but it will be shared with others who have also opted to share their location. Your exact location is not shared with other users, only an approximate area (up to 0.5 kilometers).

Your Messages and Chat History

We do not share your chat messages with third parties. Chat messages are only processed to provide you with access to your chat history. We use automated tools to filter out inappropriate content, and we reserve the right to remove content that violates our guidelines.

Push Notifications and SMS

With your permission, Weave may send you push notifications about new messages, activity on your account, or suggestions for new connections. You can disable push notifications at any time through the App settings.

By registering, you also consent to receive SMS notifications related to your account or interactions. If you no longer wish to receive SMS notifications, please contact support.

Inviting Friends

You can invite friends to join Weave by sending them an invitation via email, SMS, or social media. When you send an invitation, you confirm that the recipient has agreed to receive such messages from you.

We will not use your friend's contact details for any other purpose. You agree to indemnify and hold Weave harmless from any claims arising out of your invitation to others.

Storage and Transfer of Data

We store your data on servers located in countries outside your country of residence. By using Weave, you consent to the storage and transfer of your Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We use trusted partners and ensure that any data transfers provide an adequate level of protection.

Protection of Minors

Weave does not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and data. Parents or guardians who suspect their child has registered with Weave should contact support to request data deletion.

Data Sharing in Case of Business Transfers

In the event that Weave is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your Personal Data may be transferred to the new owner as part of that transaction. We will notify you before any such transfer occurs.
